Monthly Programs for Girls and Teens

Each month during the school year, Circle Program offers fun and meaningful activities for girls and teens across the communities we serve. These gatherings are a chance to reconnect with friends, check in with Circle staff, and enjoy experiences that might not be available otherwise. Participants are required to attend at least four school-year programs annually.

From ice skating and indoor swimming to cooking workshops and college and career readiness sessions, our monthly programs are designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and create lasting memories. We also offer community service opportunities, which help girls and teens give back, build leadership skills, and connect with their communities. Each participant is expected to attend at least one community service activity per year.

DREAM. PLAN. DO.

College and Career Readiness

Circle Program supports teens in preparing for life after high school through hands-on college and career readiness experiences. Each year, Circle hosts a Career Day where women from a wide range of professions speak with our teens, sharing insights and inspiration. TAP participants also have the opportunity to visit colleges, and trade schools, helping them explore higher education options firsthand. In addition, the Circle office is equipped with resources to support teens in researching colleges, exploring career paths, and planning for their futures.

Community Service

Circle participants are required to take part in two community service activities each year. The program tracks each participant’s service hours so they can be used for school, job, or college applications. Through these activities, girls and teens learn why giving back to their communities matters and how their actions support both the Circle community and the places where they live.

Common community service projects include Christmas caroling for seniors at the Belknap Nursing Home, trail maintenance and cleanup on Circle’s adopted trail, 5 Fingers, and camp cleanup efforts. By taking part in these tasks, participants build an understanding of their role in supporting others and caring for the natural world around them. These experiences help strengthen their connection to community life and encourage ongoing involvement.
