Mentor
I don’t have kids of my own and for a while I felt like that choice had cheated me out of the experiences I would have loved to share with a child. Mentoring through Circle Program has given me that opportunity, as well as the opportunity to share my experiences with a young individual and revisit the issues, both good and bad, of growing up. Whether it’s helping her get through tough times, watching her master a new skill, or just doing something fun together that we haven’t done before, every visit with Sara is a joy and a true privilege. I feel like I won the jackpot by being connected with her.

Mentor
Being a mentor has been one of the most rewarding programs I’ve ever participated in. Gaining trust, sharing new and familiar experiences, working through life’s challenges and frequent talks often about nothing have not only shown to make a positive difference in my Circle Girl, it has enriched my life beyond anything I could have imagined. I have watched my girl’s confidence increase as her world gets bigger. She is growing from a Circle Girl into a Circle Teen with enthusiasm. Throughout this experience, the Circle Program Staff has consistently been wonderful. They continue to be caring and supportive creating programs for both mentors and girls separately and together. This is such a wonderful program and I’m so very happy to be a part of it.
