BECOME A MENTOR
Girls and teens in the Circle Program are matched with an adult woman volunteer mentor from their local community. Mentors spend time with their girl during the school year and meet with them at least twice a month for fun activities of mutual interest. Every other month, the Circle Program offers a group activity, field trip, or community service project which all the girls and mentors are encouraged to attend together.
Mentors attend an orientation meeting in June, and four volunteer mentor support meetings during the year. Our mentors are a diverse group of dynamic women of all ages and stages of their lives. They serve as role models and become a caring, consistent presence that makes a difference in the life of their girl.
